Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan’s three US banks have been ordered to produce his ‘books, records, papers and other data, within 30 days’, in a decision by a US court.
In announcing his ruling, US District Court Judge George King, described Hogan's lawyers' arguments for keeping tax investigators from looking into his accounts as ‘meritless’ and ‘misplaced’, The Australian newspaper reports.
US tax investigators have agreed to assist their Australian counterparts to examine the Australian’s financial affairs.
Hogan claims he is being unfairly targeted by Australian tax officials and has vowed in various media interviews to fight the investigation.
