Carter Backer Winter has brought outsourced accounting services firm Direct Control Limited on board, creating a new financial outsourcing service known as CBW Dynamic Accounting.
The service aims to provide accounting expertise for SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Direct Control Limited was set-up in 1989 to provide financial expertise from book-keeper to finance director to SMEs on an outsourced or temporary basis.
The merger with Accountancy Age's 2011 UK Mid-Tier Accountancy Firm of the Year, Carter Backer Winter, is effective immediately with Direct Control's Nyall Jacobs becoming the service line's head and partner at the firm.
Peter Winter, managing partner at CBW, said: "This new service will fill an important service requirement for many of our clients. With quality and timely financial data most SMEs would improve their ability to weather difficult periods and achieve their objectives.
"The stumbling block is usually the cost and hassle of employing an accounts department. We're very excited about being able to offer them such a service."
