THE FINANCE DIRECTOR of property website Rightmove is to become chief executive on the retirement of co-founding executive Ed Williams in April next year.
Nick McKittrick, who also serves as chief operating officer, joined the company in 2000 and led the development of Rightmove's original website and went on to build the new homes, lettings and overseas businesses.
At the start of 2005, McKittrick became the managing director of the main Rightmove.co.uk operating subsidiary, overseeing a trebling of revenue in three years.
Before joining the company, he worked at Accenture for eight years in the technology consulting division.
Robyn Perriss will become finance director. She is currently financial controller and company secretary.
Rightmove's shares rose 11p in morning trading to 1,601p.
