Interceptor Enterprises, Suede's management company since 1993, said FR Dixon's assets have been frozen until the company's investigation has been completed.
Bennie Brongers, a partner at Interceptor, confirmed the company had obtained a court order to seize Suede's accounts for the past eight years from the small firm after Dixon's FD refused to co-operate. 'We are currently sifting through the accounts,' said a spokesman.
Suede, formed in 1989, were described by Melody Maker as 'the best new band in Britain.'
