RSS feedsThe Serious Fraud Office said John Abrahamson, Geoffrey Brailey and Roger Eden, appeared in the Leceister Magistrates Court yesterday.
Charges against them followed a two-year investigation by the SFO and the Leicestershire Constabulary, which began in September 2000 into 'accounting irregularities' during the years 1997 and 1998.
The company's current management has sought to distance itself from the charges.In a statement to the London Stock exchange, CSG said that the charges relate to 'historic accounting practices, under the previous management, which pre-date radical reorganisation of the Board in the Spring of 1999'
These includes the appointment of Michael Davies as chairman in May 1999 and Peter Owen as chief executive in December 1999
CSG was contacted for comment, but has not yet responded.
