MyTravel FD steps down

Kazia Kantor, the architect of the £1.3bn refinancing deal to save tour operator, MyTravel, has stepped down as finance director.

MyTravel has announced that John Darlington will replace her on an interim basis.

The travel firm pointed to Darlington's track record as a 'turnaround specialist'.

Shares in the group were down 5% at one stage following the announcement of Kantor's departure.

MyTravel posted three profit warnings last year but a £1.3bn refinancing deal announced in June gave the company some breathing space.
