A former KPMG partner has settled charges from the SEC on the audit of Xerox.
Joseph Boyle, 62, has accepted a one-year ban on auditing public companies, a settlement that involved no admission or denial of wrongdoing.
The settlement comes eight months after KPMG agreed to pay $22.5m over its audit of Xerox.
Xerox had overstated its financial results by $1.5bn over four years.
