Bryan Jackson, head of PKF’s Scotland office, has decided to step down after 11 years in charge.
Jackson came to prominence while handling the administration of Motherwell Football Club in 2002. Motherwell emerged from administration in April 2004 after he helped the club reach a creditors voluntary arrangement.
Jackson, who remains a partner with the firm, will now take on a new role challenging the Scottish Executive over its controversial new Bankruptcy and Diligence Bill, the Herald reported
He will be replaced by Edinburgh-based Martin Gill on 1 April. Gill heads PKF's Scottish charities assurance and advisory team.
The firm also announced the appointment of Mark McRae as a new partner in the firm’s Glasgow office, as an assurance and advisory specialist.
PKF has 11 partners and 145 staff in Scotland with annual turnover of £6m.
