Jeffrey Skilling could receive a 170-year jail sentence if judge Tim Lake issues the maximum sentence

Former Enron chief executive Jeffrey Skilling could be jailed for 170 years after a jury found him guilty of 19 counts of conspiracy and fraud in Houston.

According to the BBC, Skilling will be jailed for a 170 years if judge Tim Lake issues the maximum sentence. Skilling was found guilty for his role in the collapse of Enron in 2001.

Kenneth Lay, the former Enron chairman, could face 45 years in prison for his involvement in Enron's collapse.
