BDO Stoy Hayward is standardising its 600-office extranet with Autonomy technology.
The deal will enable the accounting firm to give users access to the masses of data held within its repositories.
Graham Knight, head of technology at BDO Stoy Hayward, said: 'We were really looking for an instant response, which is what Autonomy gives us, enabling us to work much more flexibly and at speed. Speed of access to content, within a secure environment and from wherever we are working, is one of the key benefits we have experienced using Autonomy.'
BDO Stoy Hayward has also previously used Autonomy within its risk management department, where unstructured information – from sources such as text documents and presentations - can be indexed.
