A Jersey accountant has lost his bid to establish that he is the illegitimate son of the late Princess Margaret.
Robert Brown, 52, had wanted the Queen and the Princesses wills unsealed to back his claim, the Guardian reported.
Brown alleges he is the child of Margaret and Group Captain Peter Townsend, the former RAF pilot who had a romance with the princess.
The judge, Sir Mark Potter, said the bid was an abuse of process.
Sir Mark Brown 'does not assert that any person or source, informed or otherwise, has ever told or even suggested to him that he is the illegitimate son of Princess Margaret'.
