RSS feedsThe former finance director of the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) has been accused of spending £2.3m of the organisation's money on flights, jewellery, artwork and a house extension.
A High Court has ruled that the LPO can now pursued Cameron Poole, 35, to recover the funds, The Telegraph reports.
Originally, the LPO believes it had lost £357,906, but further investigation found the figure was much higher - £2,351,155.
He was employed at the LPO in 2004, where he was paid 60,000 a year. The Herne Hill, south-London man will remain on bail with his assets frozen.
