Eric Tracey, Non-executive director

Eric is Financial Director’s non-executive director columnist. He started his career with Deloitte and in his time there led audits, floatations, buyouts and restructurings for a number of companies, most notably leading the sale of Railtrack to Network Rail and taking the British Airports Authority to market.

Eric was later acting FD for Amey in 2002 and group FD for Wembley in 2005 before becoming a non-executive director, senior independent director and audit chair for other listed companies.

Eric’s column is published every two months.
