Financial Director's editorial team are at the first-ever event for CIOs and FDs under the magazine's brand on Thursday, as delegates explore why these two executives often bump heads on strategy and expenditure.
Deloitte CIO Mary Hensher, systems guru and commentator Dennis Keeling, and FDs from Easynet, Smith and Williamson and The FD Centre are among those speaking at the event on Thursday - and a hot topic on the agenda is whether heads of IT, who frequently report into the FD, should instead have budget and reporting autonomy.
