(Accountancy Age) Tony Pearman has been announced as Manganese Bronze's new FD, taking the post with immediate effect.
Pearman is promoted from financial controller, a role he served for seven years at Manganese. He previously held senior positions at London Taxis International and LTI Carbodies.
The company has had a rough ride in recent months. Manganese has struggled to secure extra funding from shareholder Geely, while its share price has plummeted due to poor sales. However, Q3 2010 sales saw a slight improvement year on year.
The cab-maker's share price held steady in the first hour of trading on news of Pearman's appointment, at 73.5p.
