Shaun Parker, group finance director at life assistance provider CPP Group, has been confirmed to speak at the 2011 Financial Director Summit on 16 June.
Parker is responsible for the group's finance, tax, treasury, risk and audit functions. He joined the CPP in 2003 from Diageo where he was chief financial officer of Guinness North America prior to leading the cross-functional team that completed the integration of the acquired Seagram Wines and Spirits business.
Previously, Parker worked for ICI, and then Mars (Pedigree Petfoods) where he held a number of senior finance roles in Germany and the UK. He has extensive international experience gained through a number of regional roles, and through working and living in Germany and the US.
