RICHARD JONES is to resign as CFO of Cineworld Group and will step down as a director of the company's board with immediate effect, Cineworld said in a statement.
Jones, who has been with the company more than 15 years, now wishes to embark on fresh challenges, the company said. Sources close to Cineworld told the Telegraph that his decision to resign had been made for personal reasons.
Tony Yoe and Suki Dhadwar, both vice presidents and long-standing members of the company's management team, have assumed Jones' responsibilities on an interim basis until a permanent successor is appointed.
