ANDY MARTIN, group finance director of Compass Group, will join the board of EasyJet as a non executive director with effect from 1 September.
Adèle Anderson, a former CFO of KPMG UK will also join the EasyJet board.
Martin was previously a partner with Arthur Andersen and held senior financial positions with Forte C and Granada Group. Following the disposal of the hotels division in 2001, Martin joined First Choice Holidays (now TUI Travel) as group FD.
Sir David Michels, who gave notice in May that he would leave the board at the end of the year, has stepped down with immediate effect. Charles Gurassa will become deputy chairman and senior Independent director with immediate effect.
