GLOBAL project management and technical consultancy WYG has appointed Sean Cummins as group finance firector with immediate effect.
Cummins was group FD of Scott Wilson, the global design and engineering consultancy, from September 2007 until its acquisition by URS Corporation in September 2010.
From 2000 until 2007 he was FD of Yule Catto & Co and was previously finance director of BTR Power Systems, a division of Invensys, between 1995 and 1999.
David Wilton, who joined WYG as group FD in February 2009, has decided that, following the successful financial restructuring of the group that was concluded in July, now is the time for him to move on as the company enters a new and different phase of its turnaround. He will step down from the Board with immediate effect.
