Killick gets sweet job as Thorntons FD

Michael Killick will replace Mark Robson, who leaves the company on 17 February

CHOCOLATIER Thorntons has appointed Michael Killick as finance director. He will replace Mark Robson, who leaves the company on 17 February to take op a role at a private equity firm.

Most recently, Killick acted as interim chief financial officer at a private equity owned healthcare business. Previously, he spent 11 years with The Peacock Group, latterly as chief financial officer.

Before joining Peacocks, Killick was group finance and IT director of Bennetts GB, the retail insurance broker, and assistant finance director of Going Places Leisure Travel, a subsidiary of Airtours.
