HOUSEBUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION group Galliford Try has appointed Graham Prothero as group finance director.
Prothero, who joins Galliford Try from property developer Development Securities, will join the company following handover at his current business.
Current group FD, Frank Nelson, will retire from the board at the end of September 2012 when he will have completed 25 years of service.
Prothero, interviewed by Financial Director in 2010, has been FD of Development Securities since November 2008. From 2001 until 2008, he was a partner with Ernst & Young.
