Mee leaves easyHotel for Impellam
Darren Mee joins Impellam after working on easyHotel's AIM listing
FORMER easyHotel CFO Darren Mee is to join Impellam in February.
Mee will join the AIM-listed staffing business having helped easyHotel list on AIM. He has a 30-year career in finance, having qualified with PwC in 1986. Roles at DS Smith were followed by positions with TUI Travel.
Impellam group CEO Julia Robertson said: “I welcome the appointment of Darren to the Impellam board.
“His knowledge and experience both financially and commercially of optimising performance from multi-brand portfolios in the services sector and managing the journey from off line to on line business will be invaluable in moving Impellam forward in the next stages of our growth and development.”
It has been a momentous few months for Impellam. It acquired IT recruitment business Lorien in a £30m deal in November, and Lord Ashcroft joined the firm as chairman.
Former Impellam FD, Andrew Burchall, joined residential property services provider LSL Property as interim FD Services last week.
