Byng-Maddick goes back to the Future for new CFO

Future CEO recruits former Auto Trader compatriate Penny Ladkin-Brand as new CFO

FUTURE PUBLISHING CEO has Zillagh Byng-Maddick has looked to her old company to nab a new chief financial officer, following the departure of Richard Haley earlier in the year.

Penny Ladkin-Brand has been named as the CFO and company secretary of the Total Film and PC Gamer publisher. She served as commercial director at Auto Trader Group (formely Trader Media Group) before taking the interim role at Future in June.

The chartered accountant is described as having a background in digital media and “expertise in digital monetisation models” by the publisher.

Zillagh Byng-Maddick, Future CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Penny to Future. She brings with her a wealth of digital media experience.”

Byng Maddick previously served as Future’s CFO, having joined the company from Auto Trader brand owner Trader Media Group.
