Stephen Morana looks for new home as he departs Zoopla

Zoopla CFO Stephen Morana announces his departure, having taken the group through a successful IPO

THE CFO of online property marketplace Zoopla is to leave the group.

Stephen Morana, who has served as Zoopla Property Group’s finance chief, joined the business in 2013. He spent more than a decade at Betfair, including a stint as its interim CEO. Morana is a non-executive at BooHoo.com.

He has been “an outstanding CFO”, said Zoopla Property Group founder and CEO Alex Chesterman. He flagged up Morana’s work on Zoopla’s IPO process (listing in 2014) as a key aspect of his efforts.

Morana said: “I will be sorry to leave such a great business. Alex has been an inspirational leader and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him. I feel proud to be leaving Zoopla Property Group in such good health, with an outstanding leadership team and a strong strategy to drive future growth.”

The Zoopla group also runs the uSwitch and PrimeLocation brands.
