True and fair and accurate, too!
You may have heard this already but it’s certainly worth repeating. From the last ever issue of ACCA magazine, Certified Accountant:
“On 15 July 1997, the Disciplinary Committee of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) found that a member, Adrian Bradbury Ansdell of BDO Stoy Hayward, Garrick House, High Street, Old Fletton, Peterborough, was liable to disciplinary action under the then bye-law 27(a)(i) in that he produced accounts which he ought to have known were accurate.”
Clearly, it wasn’t the accounts of one-time Stoys client, Polly Peck.
We wish better luck to successor magazine, Business & Accounting.
