Resignation at Newcastle United.
Not only has Newcastle United lost out on the FA Cup, it has now lost its FD too.
Jo Dixon has resigned from the club after only three years. The move follows recent off-the-field scandals involving directors at the club, but is reported to be unconnected. Les Wheatley has been appointed as interim director of finance, a position he will hold for at least six months. For the past two years Wheatley has been involved in interim management programmes for different companies.
