Peter Hickman breaks links with HBOS

Peter Hickman takes up the chief financial officer role at Linklaters, the ‘magic circle’ law firm, leaving his role as group risk director with HBOS. He joined HBOS in 2004 as director of group finance, and was made group risk director three years later.

Hickman spent eight years in a variety of senior finance roles at Ernst
& Young, latterly as partner in its financial services division. He replaces
Nick Heywood-Waddington who left the company at the end of last year to become
chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at law firm White
& Case. Hickman is also non-executive director at industrial fabrics
manufacturer Fiberweb.

Stephen King leaves De La Rue as group FD and executive director at the end
of March, replaced by Simon Webb who joins from kitchen equipment group Enodis,
where he was deputy CFO. King, who started his career at Coopers & Lybrand,
was with De La Rue for more than six years and also served in various senior
finance roles at Paxar Europe and British American Tobacco.
