Santos lines up new CFO

(Accountancy Age) Australian oil and gas exploration business Santos has promoted Andrew Seaton to deputy chief financial officer.

Seaton joined the business in 2005 and is currently general manager commercial and finance for the eastern Australian business unit. He will succeed current CFO Peter Wasow when he retires at the end of the year.

Seaton is currently responsible for all commercial, finance, marketing and business development activities in his general manager role.

Prior to joining Santos, which earlier this year listed on the UK markets, Seaton held senior roles at Merrill Lynch and the National Australia Bank.
