KPMG recruits two partners to restructuring

Mark Raddan and Jonathan Coltman join KPMG as restructuring partners. The duo has more than 25 years combined experience

KPMG HAS boosted its restructuring division with the appointment of two partners and seven directors.

Mark Raddan is promoted to partner having been at the firm for 11 years, with the last ten focusing on turnaround projects for listed companies and private equity back businesses.

He is joined by Jonathan Coltman, who is also promoted to partner, and has more than 15 years experience in restructuring, working both in the public and private sectors.

James Fagan, Geoff Jacobs, Jason Lawrence, Johnny Marston, Chris Pole, Mark Stevenson and Ben Tatham have all taken director roles in the division.

“While the volume of restructuring work in the market has been less than expected, our own practice has won a substantial piece of the pie by demonstrating swift and decisive action on cases such as the First Quench and Connaught administrations and product innovation for companies such as Blacks,” said Richard Fleming, UK head of restructuring at KPMG.

“Our ability to understand the nature of this downturn and how best to deal with its ramifications has helped us win work,” he said.
