George Osborne expected to use his Autumn statement to outline controlled foreign companies tax rules
The chancellor’s Autumn statement to parliament takes place today at 1530, in which he could outline plans for overhauling multinational taxation
The statement replaces the pre-Budget report, which George Osborne scrapped.
Instead, today’s statement will make comment on the figures released by the Office of Budget Responsibility at 1300.
Osborne is expected to provide draft plans for taxation of controlled foreign companies. An outline of lowering the tax rate for the creation of intellectual property could also feature today.
