Hodge takes over from Sproul as Deloitte tax head

Andrew Hodge steps into David Sproul's shoes as tax head, with Sproul moving to chief executive

ANDREW HODGE is the new managing partner of Deloitte’s tax practice.

Hodge, currently head of the firm’s UK and EMEA global employer services businesses, takes over from David Sproul.

The move comes as Sproul takes over from John Connolly as chief executive and senior partner in June 2011.

“Andrew has led our employer and personal taxes business since 2006 and I have no doubt that he will bring the same energy and focus to this new role,” said Sproul.

“We are very fortunate that we had a number of extraordinarily strong candidates to select from and each of them will continue to make a significant contribution to the future success of our tax practice.”
