Colin Haig steps down from PwC and takes up a similar role at KPMG
PWC’S RESTRUCTURING PARTNER Colin Haig is moving to KPMG’s insolvency division, to take a similar role.
Haig has been at PwC since 2005, and prior to that worked at BDO Stoy Hayward, Mazars and Baker Tilly. He started his career at regulatory body the Insolvency Service.
A spokeswoman from KPMG confirmed the move but was unable to confirm a start date for the insolvency practitioner.
PwC said that there is no announcement yet on a successor.
Haig was previously quoted by Accountancy Age as saying he would be a “bloody awful auditor” which is why he felt more suited to the insolvency profession.
He was recently appointed joint administrator at nightclub Fabric, which was sold last year.
