Ultra Electronics FD joins Porvair as NED
Paul Dean joins technology company Porvair as a non-executive director
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR of Ultra Electronics has joined technology company Porvair as a non-executive director.
Paul Dean has been FD of Ultra Electronics since January 2009 having previously been FD of Foseco from 2001 until its acquisition by Cookson in April 2008.
Dean was a key part of the team that led the 2001 management buy-out from Burmah Castrol of five specialty chemicals businesses to form Foseco (Jersey) which was floated as Foseco in May 2005.
From 1989 to 2001, he held a number of senior finance roles in Burmah Castrol, including FD of Castrol UK.
Porvair has a market cap of £54.5m and a share price of 128p.
