London Olympic Games CFO confirmed for FD Summit

Financial Director is delighted to announce Neil Wood, CFO of LOCOG, will be joining the FD of John Lewis at this year's FD Summit

THE CFO who headed for finance for the London Olympic Games has been confirmed as the final keynote speaker at this year’s Financial Director Summit.

Neil Wood, CFO of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) since 2005, will be delivering a keynote address about the journey of the Olympics, from the bid in 2003 all the way to the event last year, the vision demanded from the finance chief and the challenge of delivering the plan.

The event will be headlined by Rachel Osborne, finance director of John Lewis, who will discuss the CFO’s role in building a company vision despite facing significant economic headwinds.

Other speakers confirmed for the event include George Buckley, chief UK economist, Deutsche Bank and Marco Bertini, Assistant Professor of Marketing – London Business School.
