Forensic accounting specialist promoted to partner at Kingston Smith
FORENSIC accounting specialist Tom Aslin has been promoted to partner at Kingston Smith.
Aslin qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002, and has since provided expert witness services and advised on a number of disciplinary and regulatory matters. His experience includes loss of profit claims, commercial disputes, compulsory purchase claims, fraud investigations, confiscation proceedings, and business/share valuations.
He is also a member of both the Expert Witness Institute and the Academy of Experts, and is a member of the Forensic Special Interest Group of the ICAEW, the Fraud Advisory Panel, the Proceeds of Crime Act Lawyers Association and the Compulsory Purchase Association.
Moira Hindson, head of Forensic Accounting Services department, said: “We are delighted to announce the promotion of Tom to partner, reflecting his strong performance over the last few years. He is an extremely talented forensics specialist and is a welcome addition to the partnership.”

Kingston Smith is ranked 18 in Accountancy Age’s Top 50 +50 survey of firms, with £40.63m in revenues for the year ending April 2012, a 0.82% fall on the previous year.
