Financial Director’s sister title, V3, will launch its inaugural Enterprise Software Report in the first quarter of 2014, a thorough investigation of 24 key technology vendors offering business software to the UK market.
The report, which is based on an in-depth study of 360 IT professionals, covers six key criteria that business customers want their suppliers to meet. These include stability and reliability of product, quality of after-sales and technical support, and of course value for money.
Published under the V3 Intelligence brand, the report offers a full breakdown of the satisfaction levels among customers of the 24 firms across each of the six categories, from excellent through to poor. Some vendors are clearly working hard to keep their customers happy, with as many as 90 percent of their users ranking them excellent or very good in certain aspects – for example VMware for reliability of product, and Cisco for range of functionality.
Others were less popular among their users, and clearly have some work to do this year to improve customer satisfaction. Sage and Microsoft have both failed to impress users with their licensing flexibility, for example.
Here is the full list of technology vendors covered in the study, in alphabetical rather than rank order. The full report will be available in the first quarter 2014 and full demographic data on the study’s respondents will be included.
