Adnams recruits retail finance expert as non-exec

RETAIL FINANCE specialist Nicky Dulieu has joined the board of Adnams as a non-executive director.

Nicky Dulieu, who joined Hobbs in 2006 and subsequently taking the chief role in 2009, will be appointed to Adnams at its AGM in April. She also steps down from her Hobbs role to serve as a non-executive for the clothing retailer.

Dulieu led several initiatives during her time, previous to Hobbs, at Marks and Spencer, steering a number of major transactions in her property and retail operations roles – including refinancing £700m of assets. Her last role at M&S was as FD of the food division.

Adnams chairman Jonathan Adnams, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome another high-calibre independent non-executive director to the Adnams board.

“Nicky will bring a wealth of experience from her finance background in the corporate sector and most recently leading a high quality fashion retailer.”
