HMRC to undertake IT upgrade over weekend

IT work to see some HMRC services unavailable for approximately three days

AN IT UPGRADE is going to be undertaken by HM Revenue & Customs over the weekend of 5 and 6 April, the department has confirmed.

The bulk of the work is set to take place between Friday evening and Sunday, but some is expected to carry on into Monday morning.

Specifically, the process of transferring webpages to the GOV.UK domain is likely to comprise much of the work.
Adjustments to take account of tax rates and tax credits changes will also be made.

The work means that some HMRC services will be unavailable over the weekend.

HMRC has provided further information on the availability of specific services here.
