ICAP names interim CFO as Torrens leaves for TalkTalk

BROKER ICAP has said that divisional CFO David Ireland will act as interim group finance director following the departure of group FD Iain Torrens.

Torrens stepped down from the board on 12 December and has left the world’s largest interdealer broker to join TalkTalk Group. His departure was previously announced in September.

Ireland, CFO of group finance, tax and treasury will act as interim group FD until the board appoints a permanent successor to Torrens.

The search is at an “advanced stage” and an announcement will be made in due course, ICAP said.
