Ubisense in drive to locate new CFO as Parker leaves

Parker joined Ubisense from Optitune in February 2014

UBISENSE – the real-time location systems provider whose products are used by a number of top-end car manufacturers such as Aston Martin and BMW – is gearing up to find a new finance chief after the departure of Robert Parker to “pursue other interests”.

In an announcement to the stock market, the Cambridge-based company, said: “It is with regret that we are announcing that our CFO, Robert Parker has left the company to pursue other interests. The group finance director will assume the CFO responsibilities on an interim basis.

“During his tenure Robert has supported the business by helping transition the business and position it for its next stage of development. During this time he played a pivotal role in helping the company exit some non-core activities and conclude a £10m equity raise and renewal of bank facility. We thank him for his contribution to this and wish him every success for the future.

The company, which expects to give a trading update the week of 20 July for the six months period ending 30 June 2015, has vowed to start the search for a new CFO immediately.
