Plus500 names ex-KPMG audit expert as new group CFO

Spread betting group hires new CFO from within and announces other senior board changes

ONLINE TRADING services provider Plus500 has announced the appointment of former KPMG audit specialist Elad Even-Chen as its new group CFO.

Even-Chen has been at the spread betting firm for the last four years, currently serving as the group’s finance director and VP business development. His promotion to CFO starts today, and he will become a member of the board in due course.

Prior to joining Plus500, Even-Chen was an audit senior associate at KPMG, specialising in commerce and real estate audit.

Even-Chen succeeds CFO Inbal Marom, who now becomes VP finance, while non-executive director Paul Boyle has decided to step down from his post to concentrate on his existing full time executive role at Aviva.

Commenting on the board changes, Plus500 chairman, Alastair Gordon, said: “We are pleased to recognise Mr Even-Chen’s contribution to the business and the important role he plays representing the company to shareholders and the financial markets”.
