ServicePower appoints veteran technology chief as its new CFO

MOBILE WORKFORCE management firm ServicePower has announced the appointment of Simon Evans as CFO, effective from 3 May.

The publically listed company has chosen a veteran finance specialist within the technology sector. Evans oversaw a period of growth at Colt Telecom, before spending a decade at Zen Internet, responsible for leading the various finance and administration teams.

Evans joins ServicePower from B2B software company Purple Wifi, where he served as chief operating officer.

He replaces Tajinder Sandhu, who has been CFO of ServicePower since December 2013 and a member of the board since 2014. ServicePower anticipates that Simon will join the board in due course, at which point a further announcement will be made.

Marne Martin, CEO of ServicePower, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to the company. I am confident that he will make a positive impact in his new role and will further strengthen our capabilities going forward.”
