Keywords Studios hires new CFO

Former Ryanair finance executive to join Keywords as group finance director

Keywords Studios, a video games technical services provider, has hired a former Ryanair finance executive to join as group finance director with immediate effect.

David Broderick, aged 42, replaces outgoing group FD Andrew Lawton, who after two years in the Dublin-based role has decided to pursue other opportunities closer to home. Lawton will remain with the group for the next month to hand over duties to Broderick, the international technical services provider said.

Prior to joining Keywords, Broderick was CFO at Arconics, an aviation software company, and FD at European regional airline Stobart Air (formerly Aer Arann).
Broderick previously spent eight years at Europe’s largest low-cost airline Ryanair where he held a number of senior finance roles including head of investor relations.

Keyworks CEO Andrew Day said Broderick’s “extensive experience of working as a senior member of management teams within a number of high growth businesses will no doubt prove invaluable as we continue to develop Keywords Studios both organically and by acquisition.”

Under Lawton’s financial stewardship the group grew from 10 to 23 facilities across Europe, North and South America and Asia and achieved a near five-fold increase in revenues through organic growth and nine acquisitions.
