Workiva and BlackLine team up to transform financial close and reporting processes

US-headquartered cloud-based reporting and compliance solutions provider Workiva and accounting automation software provider Blackline have jointly announced the platform integration to assist their  customers in streamlining financial and reporting operations. The integration will save time and reduce risk while allowing users of either product to connect and transfer data with ease between two
platforms through data accuracy and transparency improvement in the record-to-report process.

Temenos to acquire digital banking SaaS firm Kony

Temenos Infinity, the digital front office product and its Switzerland-based banking software company has announced that it will be acquiring digital banking SaaS company Kony. The acquisition will greatly enhance Temenos’s scale and capabilities in the US and will add significant digital expertise and accelerates Temenos Infinity, which is a digital front office product with over 500 banking clients and recognized as a leader by top analyst houses like Forrester, Gartner, Ovum and IDC. The combination of Temenos, Kony and the recently acquired Avoka will
significantly strengthen the Temenos Infinity product and cover all banking verticals offering customer acquisition and onboarding.

FastPay partners With AIG and Cairn Capital to launch rated media finance vehicle
US-based financial platform for digital media FastPay has announced a partnership with AIG and Cairn Capital to create a receivables securitization program with a first funding of $80mn, and senior funding and trade insurance provided by AIG. The program will offer a significant amount of capital to the media and technology sector and allow FastPay to explore large, global media and tech clients in order
to access working capital backed by their trade accounts receivable.

Informatica increases technology intelligence with Snow Software
US-based enterprise cloud data management company Informatica has chosen Snow Software, a Sweden-headquartered technology intelligence solutions provider to amplify insight and manageability of its global IT operations. Alongside the plan of integrating Snow data with their ITSM platform to enhance IT service delivery, the platform will assist them in gaining visibility and making improvements in operations accordingly.

Radpay’s reveals development of blockchain solution CryptoClick
US-based decentralized global payment processing company Radpay has announced the development of CryptoClick- a new patent-pending e-commerce technology that addresses e-commerce shopping cart abandonment. The launch of CryptoClick follows the recent launch of Radpay’s SpeedPath solution for upscale retailers and restaurants and also strengthens Radpay’s innovations in the development of modernized payment solutions.

Identiv launches Bluetooth Smart Card Reader
US-based global security technology company Identiv has announced the launch of the new uTrust 2920 F Bluetooth Smart Card Reader that focuses on portable security and powerful authentication in mobile cybersecurity, by providing a mobile, cable-free solution for secure multi-platform access to emails, portals, and authentic collaboration sites. The device’s lightweight and unique design enables
the use pf smart cards and two-factor authentication to eliminate complex passwords and their management thereof.

ConnectWise announces cybersecurity-focused organization
US-based computer software provider ConnectWise announced that it has created the Technology Solution Provider Information Sharing and Analysis Organisation (TSP-ISAO) aimed at advancing the cybersecurity resilience of the global TSP industry. The TSP-ISAO is meant to serve as the pivotal point for dealing with all cyber-threats to TSPs. ConnectWise is providing an open invitation to all companies that are interested in obtaining membership. The TSP-ISAO also uses a threat intel platform
that is powered by Perch Security that will allow all members to see threat intelligence for no extra charge.

Former BT Boss Gavin Patterson takes job at software giant Salesforce
American cloud-based software company Salesforce has hired former BT boss Gavin Patterson as the chairman of Salesforce’s board for its Europe, Middle East and Africa operation. Patterson was previously the chief executive at BT for five years. As the chairman, Patterson will help build Salesforce’s connections with big European multinationals.

Former PayPal executive joins crypto lending start-up Cred as CFO
US-based crypto-backed lending and borrowing platform Cred has appointed Joe Podulka as its new CFO. Podulka has previously worked in a variety of roles at e-Bay/PayPal for 11 years, both in the US and abroad. He has extensive experience in broad finance and analytics gained from his roles as the CFO, VP Finance at Hearst Communications. The start-up has also appointed Dan Wheeler, formerly a
partner at the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, as its general counsel.

Dovel appoints new CFO
US-based IT service management company Dovel Technologies has announced the appointment of Barry Broadus as the new chief financial officer. As the CFO, Broadus will supervise over the company’s finance strategy and financial operations and help define and implement the company’s strategic direction and growth plans. He served as the CFO of SRI international and prior to that as the CFO of ALion Science and Technology.
