Yule swaps Deloitte for PwC as auditor
Following a recommendation by the audit committee of international listed manufacturer, PwC wins audit tender over Deloitte
PWC HAS succeeded Deloitte as auditor of international listed manufacturer Yule Catto.
Deloitte has audited the listed company since August 2002 and following an audit tender – which came down to three firms – PwC walked away with the contract.
A statement from Yule said: “Having engaged Deloitte as the company’s auditor since 1 August 2002, the board, on the recommendation of the audit committee, decided that it was appropriate to put the company audit out to competitive tender.
“The tender process was initiated in April 2012 and following formal proposals and presentations from three firms, PwC was successful in this process. Deloitte has consequently resigned as auditor of the company.”
