PwC tops 25 Best Companies to work for

Three of the Big Four make it onto the Sunday Times Top Best Big Companies to work for list

PWC HAS BEATEN the other firms to take the highest rank in the Sunday Times Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for list.

Although PwC managed to beat the other firms, it was still a disappointing show for the firm which made it into 11th place this year down from 5th last year.

New entry Ernst & Young came second with 14th and KPMG fell to 24th from 8th.

Deloitte did not feature in the Top 25 list this year however it previously ranked 21st in 2012.

Commenting on these accolades, Ernst & Young’s UK chairman and UK&Ireland managing partner, Steve Varley, (pictured) said: “I am extremely proud that Ernst & Young has been named as one of the UK’s best places to work. This is fantastic recognition of what we do well at Ernst & Young and reinforces our position as a favoured employer.

“Our people and culture are at the heart of our business, so being a best place to work is critical if we are to attract, develop and inspire the best talent.”

The Sunday Times Best Companies listing celebrates the best small, mid-size and big workplaces in the UK. The ranking is based on judging criteria and a survey of the organisations’ employees.
