MAZARS has acquired of Sarah Buttler Associates, a UK immigration services business.
The acquisition, which adds some 70 new UK clients, including FTSE 100 companies, will almost double the number of size of the firm’s practice.
SBA was founded in 2008, and the addition adds depth to Mazars’ international capability, the firm said.
John Errington, immigration services director, said: “Figures released at the end of last week may have shown a reduction in overall net migration into the UK in the last year but demand for services supporting the mobility of skilled individuals hasn’t diminished. Demand will continue, not just from multi-nationals with established and complex needs, but also from ambitious start-ups expanding overseas and, indeed, wealthy individuals coming to the UK under the government’s ‘investor and entrepreneur’ visa programmes: , in which we see growing interest.”
He added: “We’re very pleased to welcome Sarah and her clients. We have a growing, dedicated team of experts who look forward to providing the kind of service and support that exceeds expectations.”
