Baldwins expands into Worcester with Sandison acquisition

THE FIRST FORAY into Worcester has been made by Baldwins, with its latest acquisition.

Two-director firm Sandison Rouse & Co has joined Baldwins, taking the firm to 15 offices.

All the existing Sandisons team will move across to Baldwins.

David Baldwin, a partner at Baldwins Accountants, said: “Worcester is an area that we are keen to develop and have been looking for a suitable location for some time.

“Sandison Rouse & Co is a great fit with our ethos at Baldwins Accountants for providing a top-class, friendly service.

Baldwins is keen to expand further in the locality, Baldwin added. “This has been the busiest year in our history for acquisitions across the Midlands and Wales – and we don’t want to stop yet.”

The new client base will be offered a broader range of services under the Baldwins umbrella.

Sandison director Karen Cavens (pictured right), who has worked at the company for 27 years, said: “Our team has a great deal of experience in a wide range of areas, particularly the medical profession, and this acquisition will enable our customers to make the most of Baldwins Accountants’ experts in other specialised fields.”

Baldwins recently made acquisitions in Derby and Walsall.
