Sainsbury’s, which has recently suffered a downturn in fortunes, is looking for a new finance director following the departure of Rosemary Thorne. Thorne, who had been with the company for the past seven years, will leave with a golden parachute in the region of £500,000. Sainsbury’s has recently announced 300 redundancies in the group.
