THE ROYAL family’s bank Coutts has appointed Jennifer Mathias as its new chief financial officer.
Mathias joins from Lloyds Banking Group where she was finance director of the corporate banking division. Mathias will report to Fiona Davis, finance director for retail, wealth and ulster within the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and to Rory Tapner, chief executive of Coutts.
In addition to her most recent position as FD of corporate banking, Mathias spent three years as head of credit risk and compliance for the commercial banking division of Lloyds TSB.
She is expected to take up her new position in the first quarter of 2012.
